Providing 24 hour lifesaving service for Abersoch and the surrounding coast, the service is invaluable to anyone that ventures out on the water. The purely voluntery crew have been keeping the Cardigan Bay coastline safe for over 100 years and rely heavily on fund raising. Money raised from the Abersoch 10K will go directly to the Abersoch Lifeboat Station so please consider helping to raise money yourself by requesting a sponsorship form when you enter or just donating on the day.All runners who pledge to raise £50 will receive a special RNLI goody, all runners who pledge to raise £75 will receive a training t-shirt, and for those who pledge to raise over £150 the RNLI will provide them with a running vest as well as training t-shirt. If you need any help with fundraising or training for the Abersoch 10k get in touch and the RNLI can support you all the way - events_west@rnli.org.uk. Anyone who isn't running but wants to help then either contact them also on the email above or just donate some money on the race day.
